Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Services/Acute Care (ESAC): [Position # 77]

Our Emergency Services Assessment Center (ESAC) serves as the Collier County Baker Act Receiving Facility. Clinicians offer crisis assessment, crisis intervention, clinical triage, and support the 988-suicide prevention hotline. 

This is a fast- paced environment where Clinicians work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Behavioral Healthcare Technicians (BHT's)to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.

This is an opportunity to contribute not only to our Clients' recovery journeys, but to skillfully assist our ESAC Team in developing their abilities to maximum potential in support of the DLC Charter!

POSITION DETAILS:

- Directly supervising, training, and orienting ESAC Clinicians and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) in a 24/7 environment.

- Oversight of the Discharge Planning Team, which encompasses the role of the Discharge Planning Associate Supervisor.

- Developing and managing the ESAC schedule to ensure integrity and Client safety while meeting budget.

- Providing comprehensive services to adults and children admitted to the Acute Care Program.

- Supporting DLC's Acute Care Director with operational duties to ensure a smooth and effective working environment.

- Objectively investigating and following up on grievances/incidents in a timely manner.

- Participating in initiative to enhance the Emergency Services/Acute Care Program, DLC and the community as a whole.

- Collaborating with internal and external providers by maintaining community partnerships and assuring timely access to Clients.

- Assisting with running multiple and complex reports.

- Developing and enhancing provided services in the Acute Care Program.

TO BECOME OUR NEXT ACUTE CARE SUPERVISOR:

- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration or related field = Required

- FL Licensed Clinician (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) = Preferred

- At least 2 years of experience in related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.) = Required

- Prior experience as a Supervisor in a comparably demanding environment = Preferred

- Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders = Required

- Ability to effectively utilize available resources to ensure a comprehensive, holistic and integrated treatment approach that supports evidence-based practices = Required

- Well-founded clinical and risk management skills = Required

- Flexibility, accessibility, working after hours, including some weekends, to ensure accountability and integrity = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal) = Required

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:

- Full-Time Salaried/Exempt Position
~ Target Hours Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
