Job Summary: This experienced professional will oversee daily operations at our psychiatric medication clinic. Responsibilities include supervising nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting new treatment initiatives such as advanced medication protocols and Medication Assisted Treatment, with future implement of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

This role involves collaborating with clinical and administrative leaders to streamline workflows, expand services, ensure corporate compliance, and ensure quality of clinical, medical, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily psychiatric medication clinic operations, staffing, and patient flow.

- Supervise and mentor clinical staff.

- Ensure safe, evidence-based prescribing and monitoring of psychotropic medications.

- Participate in committees, actively engage and lead a professional multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate a commitment to the organization's vision and mission.

- Assist in launching and integrating new treatment services, including TMS.

- Manage budgets, billing, and compliance processes.

- Oversee compliance with Joint Commission Standards and state and federal regulations.

- Complete performance reviews, recruitment, training, peer review, quality of care consultation, and supervision of assigned team members.

- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

- Build staff engagement and enrollment in the mission and departmental vision.

- Ensure exceptional customer service.

- Reduce barriers to care and ensure increased access to care and utilization of resources.

- Ability to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Other duties or special projects as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.

Qualifications:

- Education/Licensure (Equivalent years of experience in a comparable role may be accepted in lieu of formal educational qualifications):

~ Master's degree in healthcare/human services, healthcare or business administration with strong clinical, medical, and administrative experience

OR

~ Bachelor's Degree in related field with related clinical, medical and administrative experience.

Required:

- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage operational growth.

- Minimum of 2 years in psychiatric, behavioral health, or related healthcare settings.

- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical or healthcare administrative role aligned with the job description.

- Excellent business and fiscal management skills and ability to operationalize innovative psychiatric treatments.

- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered behavioral healthcare with an ongoing commitment to DLC's Mission and values.

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience.

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations.

- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check.

Preferred:

- Prior experience running an outpatient psychiatric medication management clinic.

- Working knowledge of psychotropic medications and psychiatric care workflows.

- Experience in implementing new innovative treatment models and advanced services (e.g., TMS).

- Understanding of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.

- Experience implementing efficient and effective operating systems and with customer service.

Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
