EMERGENCY SERVICES CLINICIAN - POOL SCHEDULE [# 1075]

Our Emergency Services Assessment Center (ESAC) provides elevated and modern mental health/substance abuse services. We are looking to select a dedicated professional that will focus on a mix of clinical assessment as well as Discharge Planning with a proactive approach and compassionate stance.

POSITION DETAILS:

- Conducting psychiatric/clinical triage for Clients with mental health or substance use disorder issues; some with severe and persistent co-occurring disorders.

- Crisis interventions with adults, families, and children plus Discharge Planning.

- Completing comprehensive psycho-social assessments with adults and children.

- Facilitating timely, thoughtful and accurate discharges for clients who have been admitted to the Emergency Services Assessment Center and Crisis Stabilization Unit.

- Completing comprehensive psycho-social assessments for DLC's inpatient Detox Program.

- Developing and evaluating individualized client treatment plans.

- Assisting Access Center when needed with triages and assessments.

- Completing insurance authorization for clients admitted to Emergency Services Assessment Center, Crisis stabilization Unit and Detox Program.

- Providing crisis support via telephone and the National Suicide Hotline.

- Cross-training with other DLC professionals to deliver seamless client care.

- Team-based interaction with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, technician staff, external providers, family members, etc.

TO JOIN THE ELITE ESAC TEAM:

- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Psychiatric Nursing, Rehabilitation Counseling or other relevant field = Preferred

- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Rehabilitation Counseling or other relevant field = Required

- 1 years of experience in Mental Healthcare/Behavioral Healthcare setting = Required

- Ability to assist with inpatient discharge planning and post discharge appointments = Required

- Strong capabilities in multi-disciplinary team collaboration = Required

- Accurate efficiency in a demanding and fast-paced environment = Required

- Spanish Bilingual = Preferred

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION

- Full-Time Salaried/Exempt Position based on 40 hours
