Job Summary:

The Mobile Response Team (MRT) Member is responsible for providing rapid, on-site crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing emergencies, including mental health crises, behavioral issues, public safety concerns, or disaster-related incidents. This role involves field deployment, assessment, de-escalation, and coordination with relevant agencies and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and deploy to crisis locations as directed.
  • Conduct on-site assessments of individuals in crisis to determine the appropriate level of care or intervention.
  • Provide de-escalation, emotional support, and short-term stabilization.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, EMS, mental health professionals, or social services as appropriate.
  • Document all interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team debriefings, trainings, and case reviews.
  • Maintain safety protocols and ensure the well-being of all individuals during response efforts.
  • Advocate for clients by linking them with resources such as shelters, detox services, mental health care, or medical treatment.
  • Operate response vehicles and maintain readiness of supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice
  • Experience: Prior experience in crisis intervention, emergency response, mental health, or security settings

Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Physical Requirements:

This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
