MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST [POSITION # 1136]

Our Marketing Team works with passion and skill to share DLC's Charter and engage the Collier County community in enhancing the lives of all that deserve it.

High-Level Marketing Duties:

- Performing research, conducting interviews, and writing marketing content including Blog articles, advertorials, newsletters, flyers, e-blasts, etc.

- Developing Client Marketing stories while respecting confidentiality.

- Communication and coordination with DLC Clinical Team and Clients and/or Guardians (consent forms, coordinating photos and videos of Clients who consent to release name, image, and likeness).

- Generating and maintaining consistent brand-voice, messaging and storytelling.

- Providing content for Marketing & Development E-Blasts.

- Assisting in maintaining Marketing & Development editorial calendar.

- Acting as community-facing marketing, PR, and communications representative for the organization when VP of Advancement isn't available.

Social Media Management:

- Executing results-driven and comprehensive strategies.

- Overseeing the creation of and posting of engaging content specific to different social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

- Overseeing interactions with social media users via messages/queries/comments.

- Ensuring a unified brand voice across all social media channels.

- Encouraging team collaboration to develop a strategic and thoughtful social media calendar.

- Growing brand awareness, follower base, and overall engagement.

- Assisting in managing social media campaigns, including planning, scheduling, analyzing performance, etc.

- Creating plans for social advertising and boosted posts.

- Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.

- Creating a social media crisis communication strategy/plan.

- Creating and updating social media spokesperson policy.

Community Outreach & Engagement:

- Representing DLC at community outreach events, in conjunction with Prevention &Education or Development Teams as appropriate.

- Aiding in the preparation of presentations for DLC Employees, including the Executive team.

- DLC's Community Mental Health Partnership Program
~ Taking on a business development role
~ Building community relationships to increase participation in educational initiatives
~ Assisting with referrals for DLC services and programs

Branding Responsibilities:

- Executing the design of branding packet for internal and external use (in conjunction with Agency of Record).

- Creating Staff Development Training for the proper use of organizational branding (use of logo, positive terminology, where to find materials, etc.).

- Meeting with DLC Staff across the agency to enhance brand awareness and encourage social media/community engagement.

 Other Duties:

- Capturing photos and videos at on-campus and off-site events, as needed.

- Coordinating professional photography and videography sessions, as needed.

- Providing support for Marketing & Development initiatives, as needed.

- Participating in special projects and performing other duties, as assigned.

TO BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR ELITE MARKETING TEAM:

- Bachelor's Degree in related field (Marketing, English, Advertising, Communications, etc.) from accredited institution = Required

- One to three years of experience in Marketing and Social Media Management = Required

- Understanding of basic Marketing concepts and experience with wide variety of Social Media Marketing tools (including e-mail marketing and search engines) = Required

- Evocative written/verbal communication skills with strong copy-editing abilities and attention to detail/organization = Required

- Passion for Social Media, storytelling, and connecting with online audiences = Required

- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and exceed expectations = Required

- Comfortable performing in a deadline-driven environment where problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are integral = Required

- Strong interpersonal and social networking skills with personal initiative that sets a positive example for others = Required

- Graphic design skills and previous experience working with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc. = Strongly Preferred

- Preferred But Not Required:
~ Digital photography and video editing experience
~ SharePoint
~ Healthcare/Non-Profit/Mental Healthcare experience

- Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record = Required

- Microsoft Office 365/Teams/Video Conferencing = Required 

- Staying up to date with all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a DCF Level II Mental Health Fingerprint Screening, Drug Test and local Criminal Check = Required

LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:

- Full-Time Salaried/Exempt position (Onsite)
~ Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM & Friday 8AM-3PM
~ Occasional Night/Weekend hours needed for events
