Outpatient Clinician: Immokalee Location [Position # 516]

DLC's Immokalee location provides a wide variety of services that include thoughtful and modern approaches to transformative care - we offer resources to the community that might not otherwise be available.

This dynamic individual must be proud of their well-documented experience working with all populations and have a desire to make a powerful difference in the lives of others.

Our Outpatient Team is looking to add a compassionate and bilingual Clinician to work closely with other Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, and progressive Program Staff to design custom treatment plans for our valued Clients.

POSITION DETAILS:

- Co-occurring individual and group therapy services including mental health and substance use disorders for our Immokalee location.

- Working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.

- Caseload management at an advanced level showing strong clinical skills in assessments and diagnoses.

- Utilizing detailed documentation abilities within Electronic Medical Records.

- Focusing on best practice standards in comprehensive care.

- Developing and evaluating individual and complex Client treatment plans.

- Advocating for the mental health/substance use disorder community in an Outpatient Clinic setting.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN OUR ELITE IMMOKALEE TEAM:

- Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field = Required

- Spanish Bilingual = Required

- Two years (or more) of working in Mental Health Services = Required

- Substance Use Disorder treatment experience = Required

- Experience with and willingness to run groups = Required

- Experience working with complete age population spectrum = Required

- Knowledge of overall objectives, treatment concepts and regulations pertaining to the care and treatment of the mentally ill and those with substance use disorders = Required

- Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of Clients, colleagues, agencies, and community members = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization, time management, task prioritization and independent problem solving = Required

- Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures, and protocol = Required

- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office 365/Teams = Required

- Remaining compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Active/Clear FL Driver's License = Required

- Ability to pass a DCF Level II Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE: 

Salaried - Exempt position
~ Full-Time ~ 4 x 10-hour workweek - Off on Fridays
~ 8AM-6PM w/some flexibility required for evening groups
~ No Weekends or Holidays!
