Job Summary
The Practice Manager for the Substance Use Residential Program is
responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring the
delivery of high-quality care to clients, and supporting clinical and
administrative staff. This role combines leadership, operational management,
and compliance oversight to create a structured, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Operations
- Oversee the
day-to-day operations of the residential program, ensuring smooth
workflows and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage the
implementation and adherence to program policies, procedures, and
standards.
- Collaborate
with clinical and administrative teams to optimize program performance and
outcomes.
- Monitor
occupancy and client intake processes to maintain program capacity and
efficiency.
Staff Supervision and Development
- Recruit, train,
and supervise administrative and support staff.
- Support
clinical staff by coordinating schedules, resources, and tools needed to
deliver effective treatment.
- Conduct regular
performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a
positive work environment that emphasizes collaboration and professional
growth.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure the
program adheres to all state, federal, and accreditation regulations
related to substance use treatment.
- Maintain client
confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant standards.
- Monitor and
address program outcomes, performance metrics, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare for and
facilitate inspections, audits, and reviews by regulatory bodies.
Financial and Administrative
Management
- Manage program
budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee billing
and reimbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Coordinate
purchasing, vendor relations, and inventory management.
- Develop and
implement operational strategies to enhance program efficiency and
effectiveness.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a
point of contact for client families, community partners, and referral
sources.
- Respond to
client concerns and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory
resolutions.
- Represent the
program in community meetings, outreach events, and professional networks.
Qualifications
Education
- Highschool
Diploma=Required
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration=Preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 2
years of management experience in a substance use treatment program,
behavioral health, or similar healthcare setting.
- Proven track
record of operational and staff management.
- Experience with
compliance, regulatory standards, and accreditation processes in a
healthcare environment.
Skills
