Program Support Specialist (PSS): Outpatient Services [# 216]

Our Outpatient Services Program is a clinic-based environment that provides extensive and imperative services to Collier County residents in need that might not otherwise have access to mental health and wellness resources.

This position is part of a pivotal team that serves as one of the first points of contact for our Clients. POSITION DETAILS:

- Front desk, checkout desk, phone and face-to-face interactions with potential Clients.

- Telephone communication and assistance with insurance or financial issues.

- Obtaining relevant and accurate Client information to ensure their access to care in a compassionate and timely manner. 

- Confidently identifying Clients that are in active crisis and initiating the appropriate action.

- Utilizing "full-throttle" communication skills that portray the care you take for your work in writing, correspondence via phone and the smile in your voice during conversation. 

- Taking initiative to use all hours of your day in solving problems, taking on special projects or supporting other team members. 

- Detecting and remedying any mistake or violation of DLC policy through the appropriate channels. 

- Recognizing that every day is a fresh start for your team and your Clients. 

TO BECOME OUR NEXT PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST: 

- HS Diploma or GED = Required

- 2 years of related experience (or formal training in related field) = Required

- Exceptional customer service skills that focus on meeting needs = Required

- Desire to combine independent work with team support = Required

- Ability to balance the highs and lows of a demanding work environment = Required

- A communication style that can stand up to sometimes taxing client interactions = Required

- Spanish Bilingual = Preferred

- Microsoft Office 365 (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) & Electronic Medical Records = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:

- Full-Time Hourly/Non-Exempt position
~ 9AM-6PM Monday Through Thursday
~ 8AM-3PM on Fridays
~ NO Weekends or Holidays!
