Compensation: Starting at $22.00 Per Hour (Ultimate Compensation based on experience, certification, language skills and potential impact).

Job Summary: Our Medical Services Program is an Outpatient setting that provides imperative care to address Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder issues. It utilizes the skills of a comprehensive Team to ensure healthy and happy lives for our Clients. We are looking to provide a strong career path for a compassionately skilled CMA or RMA They will contribute to the community while working alongside some of the most experienced professionals in Collier County.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing direct care to clients including taking vital signs.

- Displaying energy, empathy, and efficiency regarding client care.

- Addressing client concerns of those that arrive at or call into the clinic.

- Developing and updating treatment plans.

- Performing pharmacogenetic testing and administering injectable medications.

- Communicating with schools, families, and outside providers.

- Conducting triage assessment before doctor visits.

- Providing timely and accurate documentation (paper and electronic medical records).

- Assisting with prescription correspondence.

- Working with the Nurses Help Line, Prior Authorizations, and discharges for the medical services department.

Qualifications:

- High school Diploma/GED = Required

- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program = Required

- Current State of Florida CMA/RMA License = Required

- 1-2 years' related experience = Preferred

- Skills in nursing assessment, evaluation, planning and intervention = Required

- Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of clients, colleagues, agencies, and community members = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information), task prioritization and independent problem solving = Required

- Bilingual = Strongly Preferred

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Required

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
