Job Summary: Our Emergency Services Assessment Center (ESAC) serves as the Collier County Baker Act Receiving Facility. Clinicians offer crisis assessment, crisis intervention, clinical triage, and support the 988-suicide prevention hotline. This is a fast-paced environment where clinicians work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, and Behavioral Healthcare Technicians to meet the needs of clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Position Duties:

- Supervisory/General
~ Provide monthly supervision and lead all Team meetings.
~ Ensure all Staff are compliant with Training and NCB requirements.
~ Conduct New Employee Orientation Trainings (Assist & Support, etc.).
~ Lead Monthly FASAMS meetings (Ensure FASAMS lists are completed prior to meeting).
~ Provide On-call for ESAC/988 and manage Incident reporting.
~ Attend NCH/PRMC meetings and monitor census/discharges.
~ Handle Staff Timesheets and weekly submissions for Additional Services.

- ESAC Specifics
~ Peer reviews, daily hospital emails and supplies inventory.
~ Monitor non-approved services list plus review TEAMS planner for accuracy.
~ Manage non-billable DX report and verify accuracy of pass down documentation.
~ Review schedule to ensure proper staffing patterns and ensure fridge logs are accurate

- Lead Clinical Responsibilities
~ Assist with FASAMS errors, services list and New Employee Orientation when needed.
~ Train New Hires and current Staff on existing and future procedures.
~ Schedule 24/7 staffing to ensure there are no gaps in service to Clients.
~ Daily record check of previous day admits to capture episodes, demographics, etc.
~ Ensure teams planner/white board is updated.
~ Assign TX plans from all ESAC staff to appropriate provider.
~ Assist with pass down and hospital emails.

- 988 Responsibilities
~ Attend 988 coalition meetings and submit monthly 988 data report.
~ Submit weekly staffing plans and attend Central Florida bi-monthly meetings.
~ Monthly Full-Time 988 Clinician check-in/listen/monitor/report.

- Supporting Licensed Clinicians
~ Send out monthly Baker Act (BA) calendar.
~ Ensure proper documentation of non-BA screenings and BA timesheet accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, social work, behavioral science, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation counseling or related = Required

- Active/Current FL Clinical License (LMFT, LMHC or LCSW) = Preferred

- Multiple years of experience with co-occurring disorders, crisis intervention, intake assessment, etc. = Required

- Knowledge of treatment concepts for substance use and mental health disorders = Required

- Staff leadership and supervisory experience = Required

- Ability to engage a wide variety of coworkers, clients and community agencies = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal) = Required

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
