Job Summary: This innovation-focused and integral role oversees performance, analytics, and optimization across all DLC's Marketing and Communication Department (MARCOM) activities. It is an opportunity to utilize professional insight and creativity to inform strategic recommendations and improve overall communication and marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assists in the development and administration of the annual communication strategy and quarterly marketing campaigns for all DLC departments.

- Coordinates and supports organization-wide communication and marketing initiatives with internal teams, representing the MARCOM Director as needed to ensure continuity of strategic decision-making.

- Supervise the MARCOM Help Desk system to ensure efficient routing, prioritization, and completion of marketing requests.

- Oversee editorial quality for all marketing and communications materials, ensuring consistency with DLC's brand voice across platforms and departments.

- Develops, documents, and maintains MARCOM policies and procedures-including workflows, branding guidelines, file management standards, and quality-control processes.

- Coordinates the organization, maintenance, and governance of MARCOM digital files and asset libraries, ensuring efficient structure, consistent naming conventions, and reliable version control across all departments.

- Ensures approved branding is used across DLC channels and by external partners.

- Supports Marketing for live development and fundraising events.

- Supports other Marketing & Development initiatives as needed.

- Participates in special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience, Master's Preferred).

- 10+ years of experience in digital and print marketing campaigns, digital design, ad management, and project management systems, preferably within a nonprofit, healthcare, or public health setting.

- Team Leadership & Training strongly preferred

- Advanced abilities in Adobe, Canva, WordPress, Google Ad Manager, Meta Ad Manager, Social Media CMS (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)

- Clear/Active FL Driver's License

- Experience working in a mental or behavioral health environment or with vulnerable populations strongly preferred

- Familiarity preferred with responsible messaging guidelines for mental health and suicide prevention communications (e.g., guidelines from SAMHSA, AFSP, or reportingonsuicide.org).

- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills a plus.

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
