Bachelor's Level-Care Specialist - Mobile Crisis Response Team

Our NEW Mobile Crisis Response Team at DLC rapidly responds 24/7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, law enforcement, and other community members.

This is a fast-paced environment where MRT Client Care Specialists work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and the MRT clinical staff to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Our Mobile Crisis Response Team provides elevated and modern Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder services. We are looking to select clinically strong but compassionately-focused professionals with relevant experience in community-based crisis intervention and triage.

POSITION DETAILS:

-  Responding to crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, triage duties and completing safety planning with individuals in crisis in the school, home and community.

-  Provide support and coordination to clients, families and the MRT Clinical staff.

-  Population consists of individuals with mental health or substance use disorder issues; some with severe and persistent co-occurring disorders.

-   Connecting individuals who need a more intensive level of Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder services to the appropriate resources within DLC and the community. 

-  - Local travel including to/from:
~ Multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or persons served, and within the community.
~ Homes and residences
~ Additional community locations

TO JOIN OUR ELITE MRT TEAM:

-Bachelor's  Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration or related field = Required

- At least 2 years of experience in related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.) = Required

- Current and clear Florida Driver's License = Required

- Demonstrated expertise in the following = Required~ Working with and relating to a diversity of diverse cultural/social/economic backgrounds
~ Program implementation skills
~ Competency in age-related or specialty issues/developmental needs

- Ability to effectively utilize available resources to ensure a comprehensive, holistic and integrated treatment approach that supports evidence-based practices = Required

- Well-founded clinical and risk management skills = Required

- Flexibility, accessibility, working after hours, including some weekends, to ensure accountability and integrity = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal) = Required

- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

 Full-Time Salaried/Exempt Position

- Shift Differential Pay:
~ Weekends [8AM-4PM] Add $1.50/Hr 
~ Evening Hours [4PM-12AM] = Add $2.50/hr Weekdays, Add $4.00/hr Weekends
~ Overnight Hours [12AM-8AM] = Add $4.50/hr Weekdays, Add $6.00/hr Weekends

- Schedule During Training Period: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

- Schedule After Training Period: 4 x 10-Hour Workweek~ Multiple Schedule Options Will Be Available
~ All Schedules Will Include Weekend Day(s)
