Salary: Starting at $40/hour (Compensation ultimately determined based on experience, language skills and potential).

Job Summary: Our Detox Program provides critical care and has expansion plans in place. This working Coordinator role is an opportunity to utilize compassionate clinical skills to support our Clients' recovery and our Nursing Team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Supervisor Duties
- Responsible for all Full-Time and PRN Detox Nurses as Direct Supervisor.
~ Scheduling, Performance Evaluations, and Corrective Actions
~ Assisting HR in the process of selection and recruitment
- Shift leadership to uphold Policy and Workflows to required standard.
~ Client and Family Communications
~ Crisis intervention and de-escalation
~ All daily tasks/requirements
~ Approval/Sign-Off for LPN Nursing Assessments
~ Behavioral Healthcare Technicians (BHT's) and LPN Policy/Procedure training
- Scheduling assistance via monitoring, suggestions, and feedback.
- Infection Control reporting and management of quarterly reporting.
- Maintaining calibration of all medical equipment and logs/binder.
- Daily Treatment Plan review/development/sign-off.
~ Respond to calls related to Family/Guardian concerns
~ Reviewing Client grievance forms and validity investigations
- Supporting Nursing Supervisor/Program Director as needed.
- Assisting with Medication Inventory//Ordering/Disposal
- On-Call scheduling and shift fill-in when needed
- Ensuring all New Hires are properly trained within their first 4-6 weeks all current Staff are compliant and maintaining performance standards.
Standard Detox/Crossroads Continuum Duties
- Timely/accurate documentation in electronic medical records system.
- Assisting Behavioral Healthcare Technician (BHT) Supervisor to supply direction and support to BHT Staff.
- Effective infection control practices and reporting standards.
- Direct Client Care
~ Triage, assessment and implementation of orders
~ Withdrawal evaluation and management
~ Observing, recording and reporting medical/behavioral patterns
~ Safely and effectively implementing Client Admissions/Discharges
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma/GED = Required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program = Required
- Current State of Florida RN License = Required
- Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience = Strongly Preferred
- Substance Use Disorder/Detox experience = Required
- Spanish Bilingual = Preferred But Not Required
- Skills in nursing assessment, evaluation, planning, and intervention = Required
- Adaptability to varying and emergency work conditions = Required
- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health treatment principles and techniques (including Medication Assisted Treatment) = Strongly Preferred
- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required
Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
