Licensed Intake Clinician: Access Center [Position # 420]

Our Access Center is one of the first points of contact at DLC to provide truly transformative care. The Intake Clinician is a fundamental part of securing a strong care plan for each one of our treasured Clients - they make a visible and immediate impact on the lives of those in Collier County that need help.

We invite Licensed (LMFT, LMHC & LCSW) professionals to explore this opportunity if you are matched and motivated by a challenging yet rewarding opportunity.

Professionals must have a dedication to detailed documentation, experience working with a diverse Client base and a focus on making a powerful difference in the lives of others.

POSITION DETAILS:

- Providing assessments and diagnosis to Clients seeking to link with DLC services.

- Crisis support or assessment for involuntary admissions under Baker Acts.

- Providing treatment planning to Clients discharged from Crisis Unit.

 - Effectively managing various clinical and administrative responsibilities within an outpatient/walk-in setting.

- Collaborating with internal and external providers to meet Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder needs in the community.

- Individual therapy and caseload management.

- Ensuring timely services are being provided, closing charts, reporting to the state and making referrals to appropriate levels of care within the agency as well as external resources.

- Offering proactive and thoughtful recommendations for process and quality improvement.

 - Setting an example in providing Client-conscious service to the Collier County community.

- Embodying the DLC Charter by displaying integrity, exceptional compassion, collaborative partnership, creativity and resourcefulness.

- Advocating for Clients to focus on life-changing wellness through a strong and tested treatment model.

- Utilizing a modern and user-friendly EMR system to the fullest of its potential in remaining organized and compliant.

TO JOIN OUR ELITE ACCESS CENTER TEAM:

- Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Social work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field = Required

- Clear/Active FL Clinical License (LMFT, LMHC or LCSW) = Required

- Bilingual = Preferred

- Multiple years of working in mental health Services = Required

- Experience working with complete age population spectrum = Preferred

- Knowledge of DSM 5 = Required

- Ability to clinically conceptualize Client Biopsychosocial Data = Required

- Skilled at concurrent documentation = Required

- Knowledge of overall objectives, treatment concepts and regulations pertaining to the care and treatment of the mentally ill and those with substance use disorders = Required

- Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of Clients, colleagues, agencies and community members = Required

- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information), task prioritization and independent problem solving = Required

- Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures and protocol = Required

- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office 365/Teams = Required

- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required

- Ability to pass a DCF Level II Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required

LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:

- Full-Time Salaried/ Exempt position~  Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM
